It’s often said that regardless of the path carved or followed, and regardless of the crest donned upon his armor, the meridian of man’s ultimate quest is love. Steak and Milk is an elegantly told romance inspired by a true story of small town love, and the challenges of inter-racial relationships that still exist in the mid-western United States. We don’t choose the person who ignites passion into our hearts and inspires purpose into our lives, but we do have the choice of whether to retreat in the midst of a challenge, or persevere in an effort to discover truth and experience real love.
Steak and Milk introduces us into the lives of five complicated Midwesterners, and takes us through each of their individual efforts to find true love. All five stories are cleverly connected, as Morgan, Virgil, Pam, Cynthia, and Eddie, take turns standing at the crossroads of love and loneliness. Unfortunately, true love doesn’t work in threes, so one will be left alone.

Morgan, played by himself, is an out of work laborer, who longs for companionship and love. He’s never had a way with women, but with the help of his close friend and male lover, he has a plan to finally reach out to the woman of his dreams. |

Played by Joey Zazza, Cowboy Virgil is a down and out mechanic who has very few reasons to get out of bed in the mornings. Despite his impassive and chauvinistic personality, women find themselves falling for him. He is proof that karma is only a fairy tale that exists on the shelves of incense burning bookstores. |

Played by Jade, Pam is the proverbial victim and is a symbol of the objectification of women. She has a habit of falling for the “bad guy”, but perhaps she is turning a corner. Can she find the strength to choose happiness. |

Played by Andrew Misle, Slick Eddie is a master manipulator who has finally met his match. He has been out maneuvered and is determined to regain his dominance at any cost. Eddie reeks of sex, and uses his charm and promiscuousness to manipulate everyone around him. |
